Kitty Cat Won!

Here are some pictures from Halloween trick or treating. Rebecca had a good time, but refused to pull and candy from the candy bowls. She did walk right into people's homes though!

Arboretum with Grandma

Grandma Chris came to Dallas to spend Halloween with us. On Friday afternoon the weather cleared up and the three of us went to the arboretum. Beck's is having a great time with her great grandma!

What should Beck's be for Halloween- VOTE NOW!!!

Josh and I LOVE Halloween. We got Rebecca 3 costumes this year and are again having a vote by friends and family as to what she should be. Here are the three-

1. Kitty Cat- Rebecca is obsessed with cats and "meows" the whole time she has the costume on. She keeps this costume on for the longest & likes to snuggle up to it;

2. Tutti Fruit Dancer- I just thought this was too funny in a not quite appropriate for a toddler way. The costume doesn't really fit her and she won't keep the hat on though; and

3. Duck- Rebecca really loves chasing ducks at the park down the street from us. She refuses to wear the shoe covers (just orange crocs which work too I guess) and she is constantly taking the hat off...

Please vote for your favorite (we love the kitty, but we will dress her up in whatever wins!)

H1N1

Getting into the candy bowl Tuesday night.

Watching Elmo Saturday Morning.

Last Friday night Rebecca was fine when we put her to sleep and then starting around 11pm she was waking up every hour with a high fever and chills. She threw up one time, but seemed perfectly fine in the morning. We decided to go ahead and take her to the pediatricians office on Saturday and she tested positive for H1N1 (well, type A, which they said means 99% for H1N1). We were able to get her started on Tamiflu on Saturday and she has been fever free since Sunday morning. We got off incredibly lucky- never any vomiting, coughing, runny nose, etc. Mommy stayed home with her all day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Mommy and Me Monday at the Arboretum

Despite the mud everywhere and cold Rebecca and I braved the arboretum on Monday. Mommy took a day off work to enjoy with Rebecca. Here are some photos.

Pushing our Babies

Panda and Owl got a ride via Becks new stroller. She tried to get in it herself, then decided it was a better idea to push her "babies" in it.

Who me?

Getting into trouble on Saturday...I LOVE the blue lips!

Great fall day at the Arboretum

Mommy, Daddy and Rebecca enjoyed a great morning at the arboretum playing with the pumpkins. Enjoy the massive amount of photos

15 Month Checkup

Mommy and Rebecca went to her 15 month check up on Friday. Her height is 31 inches (60th percentile) and her head is 46 cm (55th percentile) and she weighs 18lbs and 9 oz (still not even on the growth chart). She got two shots and everything looks great.

The only big news is that after we discussed Rebecca's reaction to dog saliva, strawberries and peanut butter, Dr. Watkins prescribed us an epi-pen for Rebecca to have in case she had future encounters with peanut butter (and strawberries we think). He said that because her first reaction was so severe, chances were she would be seriously allergic for life (and it could be deadly). Good news is that we now have the epi-pen...bad news= we may need to use it sometime. So, all caregivers out there we will now be keeping an epi-pen in her diaper bag at all times and we have a DVD about how to give it to her.
So, even though Rebecca is not 20 lbs yet, we went ahead and turned her seat around. Here are some pictures of her today on the way to the arboretum.
