Bath Time Fun

Eating Cheesy Bread in the Tub.
Why are you taking photos of me???
Swimming in the tub!
All smiles. She really has started to enjoy showers, but has a blast in the tub too.

Laughing big.
Using Ernie's Boat for our hat! Isn't it lovely?

19 Months and Counting

In deep concentration about how to make Mr. Potato Head look.

The back of Rebecca's head. Her hair is starting to fill in & she even has a couple of curls. You can't tell from this photo, but it is a honey brown color.
Rebecca is 19 months now. She is finally starting to get some hair and her face is really maturing and isn't as chubby baby (not that she was ever chubby baby). And of course she has got daddy's eyelashes (lucky girl!).

Eating Spagetti

Rebecca calls it just plain old noodles. This was AFTER she ate her dinner and took a bath- she just couldn't get enough of them. Don't ask me why in the world I thought her eating on the couch was a good idea...it all came out though...

Enjoying our Bounce House

All of these big grins happen when I tell her "no" to going out the back of the bounce house. She is in a very defiant stage- she normally starts doing something she knows she isn't supposed to be and then starts cracking up. Doesn't make for a lot of fun, but makes for wonderful photos!

Just having Fun

We have been bust just having fun around the house & exploring our world!

MLK Day

Mommy had MLK day off work, so we had a mommy & Rebecca day. We woke up and mommy went running with Rebecca and then we took a nice long shower and got dressed up to visit daddy at work. We got to see his brand new office and spin around in his chair. To top it off she went to a nice lunch with mommy and daddy.

Rebecca's First Picnic

Pretty Close-ups in the Sun.

Looking at Planes fly past.
Feeding M & M's to puppy.

Sitting & Eating in the Sun. The temp got up to 60 degrees today. We can't wait for spring to come!

Dress up clothes from Grandma Sue

Grandma Sue sent a package with some dress up clothes, including a Elmo baseball hat that Rebecca loves. Her favorite things are the necklaces she was sent though. She wants to wear them everywhere- even to go out and get the mail!

Drummer Girl

Rebecca was drumming Sunday morning using teething rings as drumsticks. She was having so much fun that I pulled out the camera and asked her to drum "mo" "mo" "mo" for the camera.

Braving the Cold

This weekend was super cold- It never got out of freezing temps. So, we stayed in and worked on the house a lot. Here is a photo of the pool frozen over. We were shocked that it froze Friday night and has stayed frozen through today. Hopefully it will warm up this week. Here are some cute photos of Becks playing in the house this weekend.

Working on the House

This weekend we worked tons on the house. We shopped for new counter tops & back splash for the kitchen (along with a new sink, microwave, cook top, and faucet) on Saturday. Here is a photo of 1 of the 2 options we are sleeping on.

On Sunday, we went to Ikea and Becks had a blast. We got a new sofa bed for the playroom. It is great & Rebecca and I read books while sitting on it this afternoon. It is going to be easier on us to play in the playroom now that there is somewhere to sit. It will also come in handy when we have a full house. We also finally got a coffee table for our TV room. We ended up spending about 3 hours there, but we got a lot of ideas of things to do in our empty rooms!

Christmas in Dallas

This was Rebecca's bog gift from Santa- a bounce house that is taking over our office. She loves bouncing in it and sliding down the slide. She needs help getting in, but I think she will get the hang of it soon.

Tents and tunnels from the Reeds (Brian, Amy, Kate and Meg). Becks loves crawling around and trying to pee pee poo (peek a boo) us. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, mommy and daddy can't fit through the tunnels.

New fish aquarium from mommy and daddy. Beck's keep saying fishies on! She likes to point out the different colors- orange fishy, purple fishy, etc.

This is Rebecca's great kitchen set from gramps and mimi. She got lots of fake food to play with, but her favorite part is to pretend wash her hands in the sink (she made mommy and daddy wash hands at least 2o times today).

And of course, our favorite thing was a box that was way too small for us to fit into...next year she is just getting bows and boxes!!!

On New Years Eve/New year's day we celebrated xmas in Dallas. Gramps and Mimi spent the morning with Rebecca and Grandma Mary Ann came for the afternoon. Santa came again. Here are some of our favorite photos of Rebecca with her crazy amount of loot....Thanks for all of the great gifts everyone.
