Pretending to be Mr. Potato Head

Rebecca did this earlier and I begged her to wait for me to pull out the camera- as I nearly peed my pants. She was pretending to be her Mr. Potato head by wearing its glasses and purse. She kept saying "Becca's glawses and purse" I thought it was too cute to use her little imagination.

Rebecca's 1st Bike!

It was a girls weekend at the Weaver House. To start it off we had a wild Friday night at Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby. I went into there telling Rebecca we could get her a new toy because I had a coupon. Then, of course she found this tricycle and feel in love with it. We were planning on getting her a bike for her 2nd birthday, but she got it a little early! After a phone call with daddy where she told him "Becca have it--bike" and "ride ride bike" daddy was ok with the early birthday gift. Here she is "driving" her bike Friday night. She hasn't figured out how to pedal yet, but she is close...Will try to post videos later.

Oh yeah, and for that thing on her chin- she fell off the couch at Leo's (when jumping from couch to couch) and got a carpet burn type mark on her chin. It is starting to heal, but she keeps talking about her boo boo and how she fell off the couch at Leo's.

Daddy's Birthday

Daddy turned 31 this year! We had a great celebration. We celebrated with a ice cream cake on Easter with Grandma Mary Ann and then had Mexican after swim school with Gramps and Mimi to celebrate. Rebecca kept saying "Happy Birthday Daddy" for at least 2 weeks after the fact. She really likes everything about birthdays- the cakes, the singing, and the candles. Her birthday is the next big one!

Easter Afternoon

For Easter afternoon, Grandma Mary Ann came over and we ate dinner that mommy made and then we had our 2nd Egg Hunt of the day. Rebecca ate TONS of candy as you can see from the photos. It was definitely a day of junk food (and ham!)

Easter Morning

For Easter morning, we hung around the house (daddy did 4 hours in church the night before, so we didn't make it on Sunday). Gramps and Mimi came over for brunch and then Rebecca had an Easter egg hunt. She didn't really get it at first, but after a while realized that there was jelly beans in the eggs and then she wanted to stop and open and eat each one!

Babysitting Bailey

We babysat Bailey for a couple of days last week. Rebecca LOVED having someone to boss around- everything was "eat Bailey" "sit down Bailey" and (I kid you not) "no madame, Bailey" For mommy and daddy, it was a lot like having another kid - check out the photos! They both like the same spots in the house!
