Eating Mommy's Birthday Cake

We had a cookie cake tonight and Becks loved eating all of the icing off, as you can tell from all the idfferent colors on her face!

Still some "firsts" left to check off

This weekend Rebecca had her first "kid's coffee" It was really hot chocolate, but she didn't know the difference. Also, for the first time she let me put her hair in pig tails without ripping out the hair bows in 20 seconds. They stayed in for 20 minutes, which might not seem like much, but trust me, it is a big deal in our house.

I am on the phone and turn around and see this--ah the joy of having a true 2 year old in the house. Yes she is nakey and yes she likes hiding in her new dog's house:) She will kill me for this in about 15 years I do believe...

Meet the Teacher

What Rebecca ended up wearing was the pink dress (note the hair bow), but what she REALLY wanted to wear was her tutu and pirate hat...took some convincing to get her out of the tutu.

I took today off work to take Rebecca to meet her new teachers.

Rebecca's little friend

Rebecca is mildly obsessed with Elliot. She saw her twice this weekend, which was a pretty big deal for her. We had dinner with her on Friday and she came over to swim on Sunday. Here are photos of Becks tickling her toes, Elliot tasting her leg, Elliot in Rebecca's loaned pirate hat.

Daddy surprised us this week and was able to come to Little Gym, so Mommy took some pictures.

Dinner with the Godfather

Last Tuesday, Steve came into town for a depo and spent the afternoon/evening with us. We hung out, went swimming, and ate. Becks had fun visiting with him and showing him all of her stuff!

Nice little Saturday Morning

Saturday morning we took a family bike ride to an elementary school a couple of miles away from our house. It has 3 really cool and different playgrounds, so Rebecca got to try all sort of new tricks and she made a couple of new friends. Even though it was already really hot at 8:00 am, we left her bike helmet on, and it was a really good idea. She ended up hitting it alot when climbing on all of the new stuff.
