We had a whirlwind of a time in Atlanta. Flew in on xmas eve and came back on the 30th. Spent tons of time with the family- Great Grandma Chris came down, Grandma Sue, Uncle Brian, Aunt Amy, and cousins Katie and Megan. Mommy and daddy also got some adult time with Mommy's high school and college friends. We also saw some of Daddy's college friends. Rebecca got to see her friends Ethan and Elle too. Here are some photos to enjoy! Rebecca had a blast!
On Friday the 18th, Rebecca turned 18 months old- halfway between 1 and 2. She has been feeling pretty yucky with the pukies, but she still managed to eat some cake. I asked her what she liked better- the cake or the singing ("happy half birthday") and she said she liked the singing best!
Mommy's best friends since elementary school and her husband were in town this past week. Kevin and Naomi came in town for his job's holiday party. We saw them several nights and they spent Friday and Saturday with us. Thanks for the visit- we had a great time! Can't wait to see them more in Atlanta (with Elle!).
Rebecca has been taking books up on her rocking chair and "reading" them at night before we read to her. It is super sweet seeing her climb up with book after book and flip through the pages while telling herself the stories.
Daddy went to Braums and bought TONS of ice cream last week. Rebecca tried peppermint and gingerbread and liked both of them. Peppermint was her favorite though- and yes, she actually told daddy "peppament" when he asked which she liked better.
