Rebecca is pulling herself up to stand

Rebecca has been pulling herself up in her crib, but tonight she started doing it in other places too. She pulled herself up on the ottoman and an armchair. Here is video of her pulling herself up on the ottoman. Turn the sound up to hear her squeal when she is done.

Sesame Street Ball

Great grandma Chris sent Rebecca a ball from Sesame Street Live that she just loves. Here are some pictures of her playing with the ball today. Her favorite part is the tag (that is her favorite part of many of her toys!)

Since Josh is out of town, I promised pictures from Rebecca's evening activities for today. Once we got home Rebecca went on a walk, played, ate (she tried cheese for the first time) and took a bath.

All Smiles Tonight

So, after a great day last Wednesday when Rebecca started crawling she slept 12 hours straight! Mommy thought she was just really tired from learning something new. Mommy was wrong. Rebecca got VERY sick. Mommy needed to leave work early on Thursday to pick her up from school because she got sick multiple times and she stayed home on Friday (Daddy got morning duty and Mommy got the afternoon shift). She wasn't able to keep anything down from Thursday am to Sunday pm and lost 10 ozs. We needed to take her to the doctors office 2 times. She seems better now though (finally) - she just started really eating solids again on Tuesday and is starting to take almost her normal amount of milk.

While all of this sickness was going on, Mommy found out some of Rebecca's friends at school got the stomach bug too, so Mommy started making fake vomit noises and pretended to vomit on Rebecca when she kicked my tummy-- She thought it was really funny, as you can see in the video. She really reminds me of the kid from Big Daddy who just finds it hilarious when someone gets hurt! She even laughed the other day when she heard Daddy in the bathroom from the wrath of the stomach bug he caught from her!

I also am putting up a cute picture of her post dinner this evening (blueberries and bananas are still some of our favorites!)

ps- Josh is out of town, so there will be lots of new stuff up on the blog daily.

Watch Out World-- She is a Woman on the Move

So, really big news to report here- Rebecca started crawling last Wednesday for the first time. Here is some video of her doing it last week. In the begining, she was pretty lazy about getting up on all fours and kept quiting after crawling for about a foot and do her "army" crawl on her belly. She is doing a lot better at it now though.
