We had a great evening. Josh and I went to a nice dinner. While we were at dinner, Grandma Mary Ann and Grandma Sue played with Rebecca. Then, Grandma Sue met us at the Stars game and we watched the game together. We had tons of fun- thanks Gramps and Mimi for the tickets! 
Grandma Sue came and stayed with us the week between Cjristmas and New years, and you can tell Rebecca had fun with her! 
Between Christmas and New Years we went to the Zoo with Grandma Sue, Mrs. Vicki & Leo. It was chilly, but tons of fun! 
Rebecca had a blast Christmas morning. She totally forgot Santa was coming and came straight to me in our bedroom. She drank a pediasure, then I reminded her she may have presents from Santa. Well, she sure jumped into action quick. Grandma Mary Ann had spent the night, so she was there and Rebecca came out and saw everything and was really excited (she never said anything about the missing "real" puppy dog). She rode her bike first, then realized there were other toys there and they were for her. 
The weekend before Christmas we went to a birthday party at the Dallas Aquarium. Because of nap time we went as a family early and looked around. Rebecca's favorite thing was the alligators. I got lots of photos from the touch tank because Rebecca didn't want to leave- as the woman working there kept talking she kept asking "why" to everything. 
It was cold, but we took a horse drawn carriage through the park cities to look at Christmas lights. Rebecca and Leo really liked it and were very good until about the last 15 min. They had hot chocolate and tons of snacks. We will for sure try to make this an annual tradition for the kiddos.
